Leg Up Handicapping Contest

The last day of racing at Canterbury Park is Saturday and the card showcases the $200,000 Mystic Lake Derby and the $75,000 Shakopee Juvenile Stakes!  It was a great summer of racing packed with thrills and unfortunately some spills.

Canterbury Park launched the Leg Up Fund to help support our jockeys in need of financial assistance due to medical expenses while they recuperate.

 

HOW TO DONATE

While it’s not required, we ask that you make a donation if you decide to enter the contest.

 

Please mail your donations to: Leg Up Fund c/o Canterbury Park Racetrack and Card Casino, 1100 Canterbury Road, Shakopee, MN 55379

 

100 % of funds raised from this contest will be donated directly to the Leg Up Fund.

 

PRIZES

The winner of the contest will receive a Canterbury park t-shirt and DRF greeting cards

The runner-up will receive a Canterbury Park t-shirt.
Third place will receive a Canterbury Park t-shirt.

Email your pick for the winner of each race listed below to:  cbyentries@gmail.com (please include entry number and horse name). Please send an alternate selection for each race.  If your primary selection is scratched, your alternate selection will be used as your primary.

***PICKS ARE DUE BY 11:00 AM CENTRAL ON SATURDAY***

The person with the highest bankroll based on imaginary $2 Win ticket in each of their race selections is the WINNER.   If necessary, a tiebreaker will be determined by highest single-selection payout.
